happy new year!!

yea new year is finally here.. but ok laa not much excitement.. i din een buy any new year clothes la..

sheehs my this para was typed like 1/2 hour after my previous para. cos chatting wit tag nip sam yj and phy is SUCH A CHORE. cant leave the convo one lorr.. haha. or i'll miss lots of things. but nvm they're damn lame now. shall try update as fast as possible..

hmm yest night went to keppel club for renuion dinner.. 1st time with grandma side and fifth aunt's family.. sth like 10 course dinner lor. not bad. the place looks rather posh.. haha.. but at the end of it i still prefer having steamboat at home. jus 3 of us.. can eat so much more plus can eat slowly till midnight..

today went to temple.. den to grandma's place.. which was rather boring cos 3rd aunt's family cannot come.. which means ashton oso not around.. haha suddenly qt siann without that kid. he brings joy man.. haha.. den went to guanyin temple.. wa rather crowded.. den i came home. i was chao sleepy la.. but i wanted to meet dear qt badly.. haha so jus try see if can meet for movie or sth.. was v shocked her parents let.. so in the end we caught the jet li show "fearless" at 7.20pm at westmall.. its a rather nice show!! haha. ok for those martial arts lover.. or jet li fans.... for pple like YING who self proclaimed she "watches movies only for the cute guys".. den yea it'll be a disappointing movie... muahahahaha.....

anw after the show the moment we stepped out we saw a CROWD gathering outside the ticketing counter la.. turns out they're all queuing for tickets.. hahah... cny really a time to watch movies and relac lor.. den we wanted to eat at kfc.. but too crowded. so went to macs instead.. saw kepkee kepyong and their family there too.. hmm den left the palce abt 10plus lor... 1st time spending the night of da nian chu yi not with parents!! but hmm oso nth much to do ma jus watch tv only at home.. but i did help to cook some zhai for tmr.. yup. tmr we'll be gg to 2 aunt's houses.. and we host them too.. haha every year like tt one..

hoseh la.. man utd won liverpool 1-0.. haha 1st time i caught a match between these 2 great sides. cos i have no SCV cable at home.. so for the 1st time, i watched it at germ's house.. haha.. im surprised it actaully worked out.. it wasa wild thot and i casually asked.. really thot her parents or mine will object to it.. mum did expectedly, but eventually she says ok.. what's more touching is that dad offered to drive me there since i end work at 11pm. oh my i was SUPERRR touched la.. they picked me up from coronation, drove me home, den i bathed and packed some stuff den dad drove me to dear's place. i din really say any mushy stuff to dad but yea, deep down i was seriously touched.

the match went pretty well.. liverpool dominated 1st half i tink. had like 11 shots on target while man utd had only 3.. but lucikly cisse sucked liao hell.. crouch gave some pretty nice passes with his head, gerrad gave a very nice curling pass to cisse as well.. still, the lousy and cocky cisse cant score at all. not even when he had an open shot!!! hahahah. (sheehs hope my sousion kelvin is not reading this..) and gerrad was fouling like mad but only got a yellow card towards the final minutes of the match, when he was tackling so rough throughout.. rooney was pissed i tink. haha. he's brilliant!!! his run from his own half to outside penalty box was spectacular. too bad his pass to fletcher was blocked by duno which loverpool defender.. else i tink fletcher has v good chance to score... van nistelrooy had a good chance too but i tink he din play v well for this match. like i dun see much of him at all.. hahaha ok i shall stop acting like commentator.

hmm den slept abt 3hours lor... i slept in study room while dear in her own room... had a PRETTY GOOD slp.. muahah =)

morning woke like 7plus, came back home, den dad sent me to shaw centre again.. met sam n phy go adecco return time sheet and take pay. only 45bucks lehh.. for the training sessions only.

but phy got like 200plus laa.. mainly cos she worked during hari raya.. gRRr... yea den we went to our respective outlets..

today was not bad.. haha anyway yes yanye sorry my blog keeps talking abt beer.. cos 24hrs each day i work 12hrs with beers.. haha so naturally my life currently revolves around it. like 9 out of 10 of ur entries has to do with "clubbing" too eh? =) hmmm yea today's sales not v good.. tho beta den yest, which sucked alot.. again i wrote a short rhyme.. so did sam.. he wrote 2 i tink.. haha. k shall share with yu guys mine. sam yu write also leh, i tink its funny.. even phy copy down la.. haha..

oh my im tired. short entry then..

not physically though.. i can stand the standing hours (no pun intended). no problem.. 12 hours minus 1.5hours of break... but mentally im super deadbeat. haha working this kinda job can be so mentally tiring at times. hmm today din meet new pple. saw canoe juniors again. they came to coro to have lunch after training at macritchie.. hmm den ha break at 2 to 230.. afternoon was super crowded i tink. most crowded ever since i started there, though still cant be compared to taman jurong.. haha. erm den i went golden chicken to eat. so empty.. haha the aunty still recognises me leh.. yea den gave me damn big plate of additional rice cos i asked for it..

so i ate alone. boohoo.

den supposed to have my dinner from 5 to 6.. but can yu believe it??? i actually missed the whole timing by one whole hour!!! the other guys asked me when's dinner. i told them "five lor".. then they HUHHH??? and told me its already six. hahahaha damn lame la.. so i ate from 6 to 7 lor. i was praying no APB pple come den see i was not at my station during the designated time. but actually nvm la.. also not much crowd..

den at night was damn bOring.. i was expecting crowd to flow in around 7 to 8..but no it jus got thinner.. and thinner.. and thinner... and thinner.... by 930 the number of customers is really pathetic. hmm by abt 10 there's less than 10 customers in the whole ntuc.. haha. oh then after dinner actually talked to this alvin guy for abt half hr.. he's doing coca-cola.. heh. talked abt soccer lorr.. he's liverpool fan while im MAN UTD fan.

not the one that keeps yu cool but.... as in someone who likes the club.

hmm den aound ten we went to the sushi stall.. wa the aunty v good.. haha made more shushi for us cos all sold finish le.. on top of that she charges us all half price. so for a 60cent sushi its only 20cent. yea, as if yu dun know that. in d end i had 6 sushi for 2bucks only.. haha shiok. then sat aorund wait for time to pass lorr.. zZZZzZzzzzzz...................

oh anw sales for today, total of 358 tiger cans, 146 guinness cans.. hopefully more pple will do shopping on sunday =)

it was a lamenting entry previously and now im back to feeling good. ok i guess my job has its perks n down periods.. so i shall complain less. haha... today's sales is good i tink. it shot totally in last 2 hours.. between 7-9pm.. i sold 5 24-can packs.. out of which 4 of them were sold in the last half hour... impressive huh?? why they all like to come last minute, just an hour before the outlet closes... haha but ohwells.. i was supposed to work till 11pm.. but cos its mum's bdae and we alr planned to have dinner after my work, i told them i cant do it tonight.. start tmr lorr.. and tmr's ELEVEN AM to ELEVEN PM..... friggin 12 hours of work!!! tts more than my parents, aunties, uncles, cousins blabla... I THINK. haha.. and standing sumore, with only 1.5hours of rest in total. half hour for lunch, one hour for dinner..

oh anwww.. today i gave away my 1st 2 ruyi (premiums)!!! haha but actually both also dun understand what is its purpose, one even is i sort of "forced" him to buy.. cos he say he doesn't need it.. then i was like

"come on, anyway its free.. jus tell me which do yu like most. fortune, prosperity or longevity??"
"oh... erm i tink its really ok.."
"yu sure sir? how about i give yu prosperity for this new year season?"
"erm..... ok lor.."

hahah.. then for a few customers who took carlsberg 6s, i told them to buy tiger 6s and i give them free playing cards.. which i should not do cos there's no promotion.. but i thought why not since some pple also din want the cards when they're entitled to have it.. so i just give away lor. then it really worked yu noe? SAMUEL & PHYLLIS, UR MIGHT WANA TRY DOING THAT TOO... haha.. once they heard i say tt they "ok lor" and gave their carlsberg to me and i happily placed it back to their stall..

what's funnier is i managed to persuade 2 customers to take tiger 24s instead of carlsberg 24s.. which were already in their trolley.. haha one aunty was the ultimate. she was looking at carlsberg stall then i walked over to her ask if she wants tiger insteaad, cos its (really) cheaper.. plus got free gifts. den she said its ok she'll take tiger... then i walked back dejectedly, after giving her a weak smile.. den after 10minutes, she came my stall to look...

"oh yu got promotion for tiger also ah?"
"ah ya lor, sumore cheaper than carlsberg yu noe?"
"oh... but i neva try tiger b4 lehh.."
"huh?? wa then aunty yu're missing out on alot leh!!"
"isit? oh cos we always buy carlsberg only...."
"mmm.. how abt have a change this year la, buy tiger instead.. i can oso give yu free gifts!"
"orh.. ok lor then i'll take tiger.."

after tt, i gleefully took out her carlsberg 24s and ran back to put back.. tt feelings is SOOOO SHIOK =)

ok anw today is not as boring as past few days. cos i talked to many pple! yeaa! 1st the security officer. haha talked alot la. den realised he's cantonese also.. then he was like saying how his son cant speak canto for nuts.. and how nice canto sounds like compared to hokkien.. which sounds vulgar in its tone already.. but he can speak hokkien also.. but i dun understand.. hah. den he was explaining to me difference between syndicates and thieves.. former bieing a large organisation that steals undreds and thousand dollars worht of goods.. while thieves steal petty items like shaver, battries, beer blabala.. so interesting!

then as i was talking to them i saw a bunch of waving hands at the entrance.. den i looked and it was my juniors!! haha.. so cute la. wave quite mengly in the air.. saw yongxian and chongsheng distinctly.. yea.. den later kiat tat n a few others came by and talked awhile lor.. bernard also came to talk abit.. den got see wenyi walk by but she din see me. i din noe it was her until she sort of turned her head for some reason.. she looks.. big.. ok broad i mean.. haha..

then talked to the cashiers too.. the aunties keep calling me "TIGER BEER"... hahaha.. oh idd i menation one guy came to buy beer then call me "HEY MR TIGER"... muahha... hmm then there's this temp cashier whom i duno the name.. she's born in 1988 but she was already in HCJC when i was still in sec4.. den i realise she's some smart kid who din even take O Levels and went straight up to JC... WHOOAAA... but she stayed in HCJC for one yr only. 2nd year she opted out and took another exam which got her into NUS.. so now she's currently waiting to go in lor.. haha if she had stayed on she'd been my senior.. oh she's in track btw. haha.. so smart laa..

hmm ok i tink tts it for today. tmr onwards gg to work damn long. sighh i hope can tahan.. if not i hope can talk along the way.. to the YEO's guy or F&N guy.. or the ntuc worker.. haha.. its ridiculous but yea we duno each other's names.. haha. nvm shall ask them all tmr =)

hoho.. its my 4th day at coronation. im super sian diao. even sam says he's siann too la. wana take a day off next week. i dun bear to leh. cos i wan the money.. n its like abt 60bucks a day? hmm but this few day's really boring. i don't even bother to open my mouth as often as when i was at taman jurong. i still do.. but seriously chances of getting rejected is 1252345 times higher.. so i spent my time on other stuff.. like tinkin of a stupid rhyming poem.. which i shall write later. haha.. pls dun say im a slacker, cos EVERYONE tells me the same thing. talked to 3 other part-timers.. 2 waiting for O levels.. the other one gg poly soon.. hmm they oso say this outlet's crowd is pathetic. no HDB around.. sumore located beside the road. then when it rains, its as good as a signal for me to go home =) the guy working for YEO's also told me he whole day only need to replenish stocks abt 3 times. other than that he's sitting somewhere. but their pay all lower than mine la.. averaging around 5bucks.. so i count myself lucky. but heyy they're not subjected to rejects after rejects.... not subjected to facing ugly customers... as in not literally but erm, BAD customers. hahaa... but yea im damn slack today. but hey aint my fault k. no drinkers wad to do???

2 customers cheated my feelings today. both said will come back buy. both took my leaflets. one een wanted to bring to his cart behind but i NICELY told him he can pick it up later b4 he pays, since my stall is jus infront of the counter area... den he happily "forgot" to come back pick it up... GRRrrr... anw my sales is super badd today. i dun even wana mention it... i wanted to say hope tmr will be beta but heyy.. i really dun tink it'll be beta till weekends...

at coro is good today. so i've no more complaints... for now. hahah.. i tink its the RED guiness shirt tt brought me luck lor. or tt my hard praying worked.. cos today i managed to sell 3 24-cans packs in less than 5 minutesS!! im damn amazed how luck can come so quickly and stay away from yu for so long..

1st this bangla came n looked at the 24s pack (which means 24-cans).. den he say he call his fren to check. den while he was on the phone babbling tamil.. i was praying non-stop tt he'll nod his head or sth after putting d phone down......... n yes he did!! hahaa.. n he speaks good english. not perfect but much betta than most banglas. n best of all, he's POLITE. i was quite happy to serve him lor. den he din want the ruyi thingy which appeals only to chinese i tink.. yea so i gave him 2 sets of playing cards. he still patted my shoulder and said "thank you".. oh my tts like d 1st time i din feel anything when a bangla comes close or TOUCHES me even.. haha.. sigh at tt moment i asked myself if only all are like him... but too bad most aren't. they are responsible for most of the alleged molests/thefts blablabla crimes. notice the word ALLEGED. so im not using any deframagotary remarks here.. yup.

yea anw 2nd customer who bot 24s pack is the old lady with a maid. again she din care abt the premiums given out. cos she wanted to GIVE away the beer. walau 50plus bucks worth of gifts!! hmm den as i was explaining to her the mechanism of the premiums this gentleman came n lifted up a 24s pack and was abt to leave. he din even bother to ask me abt free gifts!! whHOOA!! den i turned to talk to him for awhile offered to give him ruyi or poker cards. den he shook his head smiling "nah its ok i dun want them"... how cool is that! haha.. den later as he was queuing up i decided to jus try my luck. i went up to him n asked if he wld like to buy guiness too.. cos they having promotion as well.. he asked wad's it abt so i led him to the booth n explained again. den he think for awhile and said "alright give me 2 boxes then." i BEAMED like mad la.. hahaha.... oh my tiger beer staff shld have seen this scene so i can be rewarded tt 20bucks angbao....

speaking of which, i duno la but i tink its qt unfair to reward promoters like tt. i noe the intention is to encourage us to piaaa.. but location is v impt lor. compare a small and sole ntuc outlet located in heart of housing estate... where beer-drinking uncles are aplenty.. to a big ntuc outlet located beside the road, infront of a few private estates occupied w angmohs who's favourite beer is either carlsberg or heineken.......... haha.. btw if yu haven noticed my workplace i wad i jus described. today really had some special luck man. yest's sales was crap. let me jus show yu how bad it became:

1st day - 80 tiger, 48 guiness
2nd day - 130 tiger, 12 guiness
3rd day - 176 tiger, 50 guiness
4th day (started at coro) - 40 tiger, 16 guiness

yea 4th day was my worse. (haha tho still lupp sam's worst day) hmm nvm i shall jus try my best...

anw i met dearr todayy!! omg the 1st hug in 5 days was sooo good!! haha. so comfortable!! i miss hugging her.. heh. walked arnd for an hour in JP cos i had to work after tt.. tt must have been our best "short meet-up" in a long looong time. i miss her so much after merely a week. sheehs army how? haha.. anw i guess she's gg to pia for her SAT soon so will have less time for me. boo. but ohwells.. cant help it la havta study...

arggghh i hate it but i guess im gg to start my blog on a bad track. i wana complain complain complain!! as ur might noe i started work on last fri at taman jurong ntuc. its good i tell yu. i sell until qt shuang. i like the arrangement of the shop too. den i made frens w the chicken essence auntie and the girl promoting fresh milk. n of cos made frens with carlsberg promoter. all's well.. getting better in fact. including my sales. yest i sold in all abt 300plus cans.. not counting single cans la. walau den guess wad.. i was told this afternoon taman jurong location CANCELLED. im transferred to coronation plaza. from wad i noe they checked on d previous guy n found him "not aggressive enough".. ok so i tot mebe he's some ah beng was kiao ka (shakes legs) all the time.

den i reach the place the staff there all say he very hardworking blablabala........ den i finally realise why. that location is screwed man... totally. taman jurong is 527856235 times more crowded. the space infront of me is neva vacant for more than a min. at coro? 3 whole minutes it can be vaccant. i duno if its due to it being a monday. but d pple there told me weekends also abit more crowded only. walauuu.. jus when im settling down so well there they have to shift me to a shittier place. i could have done much much more back at taman la.

tmr's another trng session.. haha carlsberg guy told me they dun even have. sumore their mealtime is paid too.. ours i dun tink we are paid for that 1 hour of meal time. okok i noe some cynics will say "come on tts life. grow up n stop whining." but i wun if they jus let me stay where i am!! if they really leave tt place vacant tiger beer's really cranked up man. tts a damn good location yet they take away promoter to another lousier place. taman ntcu is right in the heart of a hosuing estate la.. full of uncles who drinks shitloads... families who buy loads of beer to celebrate cny. coronation? jus some angmohs leaving in the private estates behind. no uncles no beer drinking population.

im so gonna talk to the pple in charge tmr when i get the chance. im gg to pt out tt they've been unfair in taking away that poor fella at coronation in d 1st place. even if the yPUT THEIR MANAGER there i seriosuly doubt he'd done any much beta den me. becos yu need a friggin' drinking population in the 1st place!!!! yu "hello auntie hello uncle" here and there also no use. simply cos they've NO INTENTION TO DRINK!!! wth. y cant a big company like them understand tt simple fact? hmm ok mebe they do. im jus assuming they don't. cos i dun understand why they wan2 cancel a good location???
